Can I join with a friend?

Yes! You can both book a bed in the mixed shared dorm, or book a private room for the two of you (you will get a little discount).

I am vegetarian/vegan/have allergies/etc, is that a problem?

Absolutely not a problem. A few days before the trip we ask you to choose from the menu, if there's nothing on it that you can eat let us know so we figure it out with the restaurant. We are used to organizing safe food for vegetarian, vegan and people with allergies or food preferences.

Can I join if I am not in Accra?

Yes, you can come from your current location to our first venue in Banko (Ashanti Region), or join the bus on the road from Accra to Banko. Let us know in the booking form. You can contact us so we can help you with the transportation.

Day 1 :

Drive to Banko, a typical Ashanti Region village near Kumasi

We leave Accra at 6PM from Afrikiko, Kanda, Accra. You will meet your Travel Host and fellow travelers before taking of. The first night will be near Kumasi. Take some rest for the coming days!

Day 2 :

Drive to Larabanga and monkey visit

After early breakfast you will continue the journey to Larabanga. It's gonna be a long day in the car, but look outside and you will see the landscapes changing.

Along the way we will visit the monkey sanctuary, and the famous mosque.

Day 3 :

Safari day!

On Saturday we will do two safaris. One in the morning, and one in the afternoon. We will also relax in and around the swimming pool (with hopefully a good view!).

Day 4 :

We're heading south again

Our time at the Mole National Park came to an end, but our trip didn't yet.

On our way back to Banko we will take a rest at the Kintampo Waterfalls. At the hostel there will be a delicious BBQ waiting for us. Vegan/vegetarian friendly!

Day 05 :

Back to Accra: last goodbyes

It's the last day of the weekend: breakfast will be in the van, because we are going to explore a lesser known National Park. Most travelers in Ghana won't visit this one, but you will.

After the lunch buffet we will drive to the Kente Weaving Village to hear everything about this traditional art craft. The tour includes a short trip to a cocoa farm.

Then it's time to drive back to Accra, you will reach the capital city around 11PM.
