February in Ghana is the month of chocolate, and there is no better time to dive into the story behind one of the country’s most beloved treasures. This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to step beyond the chocolate bar and experience where it all begins. Our Chocolate Adventures Day Trip is a warm, inspiring, and playful journey from farm to factory and you’re invited to be part of it.
On Saturday 14 February 2026, we’ll leave Accra in the morning and head to the Eastern Region for a full day dedicated to cocoa, chocolate, and connection. By early evening, we’ll be back in the city, filled with new knowledge, sweet memories, and maybe a few chocolate bars tucked into our bags. It’s a perfect one-day escape that combines learning, tasting, and discovering something truly special.
This experience takes you right into the cocoa journey. We’ll visit a cocoa farm to learn about the cocoa pod itself. How it grows, how it’s harvested, and why Ghanaian cocoa is so highly valued around the world. From there, we continue to the chocolate factory, where you’ll see how cocoa beans are transformed into delicious chocolate. Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, connect the dots, and of course, enjoy generous chocolate tastings.
What makes this tour even more meaningful is the impact behind it. By joining this trip, you are supporting FairAfric, a social enterprise working to create 10,000 climate-friendly jobs in Africa while ensuring fair working conditions in chocolate production. This is chocolate you can truly feel good about.
The Day Trip is very suitable for kids from six years old and up, making it a wonderful outing for families. It’s interactive, educational, and fun, and we’ve designed it so both children and adults can enjoy the experience together. We offer special rates for couples and groups.
The tour includes comfortable, air-conditioned transportation from and back to Accra, a complete farm-to-factory experience, chocolate tasting, and lunch at the factory provided by the chocolate brand. Dietary preferences and allergies can be shared in advance, so everyone feels comfortable and cared for throughout the day. You’ll also have the chance to purchase chocolate bars to take home and relive the experience later.
If you’re ready to experience something new, learn where chocolate really comes from, and celebrate Valentine’s Day in a unique way, we’d love to have you join us.
