If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing elephants up close, watching the sunset over a savanna, or waking up to the sound of birds in the wild, this December is your chance. Our Safari Weekend to Mole National Park is the easiest and most affordable way to experience Ghana’s northern beauty, without the stress of planning every detail yourself.
The easiest way to go on safari from Accra
Many people think a trip to Mole National Park is complicated: multiple transfers, high car rental costs, and long distances. But with Language Café Ghana, we’ve taken care of it all. You simply pack your bag, hop on the bus in Accra, and we’ll take you straight into Ghana’s wild north.
Our last Safari Weekend trip of this year falls perfectly over the Farmer’s Day holiday weekend (Friday, 5 December), which means you can enjoy a full adventure without taking extra leave from work. It’s the perfect long weekend to escape the city, connect with nature, and explore Ghana in a new way.
What to pack
A good safari doesn’t need fancy gear, just a bit of preparation. Here’s what you’ll really need:
- Light, breathable clothing: It’s warm during the day and cooler at night. Think cotton shirts, shorts, and light trousers. Neutral colours like beige, green, or brown are best for blending into the environment
- Comfortable shoes: You’ll want closed shoes for walking safaris and sandals for relaxing
- Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses: The northern sun can be strong, so protect yourself
- Reusable water bottle: Stay hydrated, and help reduce plastic waste
- Swimwear: You might want to cool down at the waterfalls we also visit
- Camera or smartphone: For unforgettable photos (and maybe your new favorite wallpaper)
- Small backpack: Handy for day trips and safaris
- Personal items: mosquito repellent, toiletries, and any medication you need
What to leave at home
You can leave your city worries behind. You don’t need heavy luggage, heels, or fancy outfits. Comfort is key. Also skip unnecessary electronics; the goal is to disconnect and enjoy nature. There’s sometimes no network connection on this trip, and that’s part of the magic. You’ll find yourself talking, laughing, and sharing stories instead.
Why go with a group?
Traveling with others turns this weekend into more than a trip. It becomes an experience. Whether you join alone or with friends, our group quickly feels like a small community. You’ll share snacks on the bus, spot animals together, and end the day chatting under the stars.
Every safari becomes a story to tell, and it’s always better when shared.

We’ve organized everything for you
Transport, accommodation, park entrance, and guided safari. You just pack light, show up, and enjoy. We’ve built this trip to make it easy, comfortable, and affordable for anyone who wants to experience the real Ghana.
