This is your chance to explore Elmina from Accra in one day. Join our trip on Sunday 2 March. Visit the famous Elmina Castle, discover the town with a local tour guide and learn more about Elmina’s history at the Java Museum.
Departure in Accra is early morning, so you’re on time for the walking tour. Discover the old Elmina site, the fish market, the Dutch cemetery and more. After the tour you will visit the Elmina Castle, where you will see the dungeons and the door of no return.
The Castle tour is very intense and emotional, so before you head to the next activity you will relax and refresh a bit during lunch. The last museum visit of the day is Java Museum, where you will learn about the interesting history that is shared between Ghana, Indonesia and The Netherlands.
